BeGlobali Accessibility Statement
Last updated October 2026
Our commitment to accessibility
BeGlobali exists to help every student prepare for, travel through and return from an experience abroad. That includes students with disabilities. We want students, advisors, faculty and partner institutions to be able to use every part of BeGlobali, including Pathways, Quest, and Country Hubs, without running into barriers.
Accessibility is ongoing work, not a box we check once. This page explains the standard we build to, what we do to meet it, and how to tell us when something isn't working. Questions or feedback are always welcome at [email protected].
Our standard and how we work toward it
We design and build BeGlobali to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practice, that means:
- Accessibility in every release. New features are checked for keyboard navigation, screen reader support, color contrast and clear labels before they go live.
- Accessible learning content. Pathways videos include captions and written content uses clear headings, alt text for images and plain language.
- Regular testing. We test the platform with automated tools and manual checks, including screen readers, at least once a year, and fix the issues we find.
- Trained team. The people who design, build and write for BeGlobali learn accessible design and writing practices.
Accessibility conformance report
Our Accessibility Conformance Report, based on the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) and tested against WCAG 2.1 AA, is available on request from [email protected]. Last tested: October 2026.
Reporting an accessibility barrier
If something in BeGlobali is hard or impossible to use, please tell us at [email protected]. It helps to include the page or course you were on, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you use, but send what you can.
Here is what happens next:
- We confirm we got your message within 2 business days.
- We log and prioritize it. Every report is tracked until it is resolved.
- We act fast on blockers. If the barrier stops you from completing a course, task or required step, we provide a fix or an accessible alternative, such as a transcript or another format, within 10 business days. Other issues are fixed in an upcoming release.
- We let you know when the issue is resolved.
If you are a student at a partner institution, you can also contact your study abroad or global education office, and they can reach us on your behalf.
